By an overwhelming majority (17-3 at last check on GroupMe, with 3 fine either way), we will be starting the league with a Creation Draft. With this comes a set of guidelines that I have to lay down, so I'll try to cover it all here:
- The draft lottery will be held tomorrow afternoon and the draft will start immediately following.
- There will be a six-hour clock active for all picks that go on the clock between the hours of 12:00 PM EST and 8:00 PM EST and a twelve-hour clock active in the off hours. If you miss your team's selection, your clock for future picks will be reduced to two hours and four hours, respectively. If you miss another pick after that, I will cut them down to one hour and two hours, respectively. If you know you have a pick coming up and don't want to risk missing it, send in a list.
- GM's who pick within one hour of going on the clock on over 80% of their selections (10/12) will be rewarded with league cash to start the league. If you send a list, that counts towards your total of 10 as well.
- GM's who miss the one hour window three times will have the reduced clock (one hour in on hours, two hours in off hours) for the remainder of the draft following their third miss.
- There is no trading during the draft, period. Your picks are your picks.
- There will be no potential scouts. You're going to be given the true letter grade on the index and you can sort based on true potential. That's more than enough.
