General Rules:
- The 60-day trade rule is NOT in play. Have at it.
- Maximum of 5 players PLUS picks may be traded by one team in a given trade. (Cash, pick swaps, and stashed European players do not count towards the total)
- Three-way deals and multi-part trades are not allowed.
- If a trade involves league cash, the person sending the cash must post a link to their bank transfer in the trade thread, as well as posting a link to the trade in the transfer thread.
- All releases done in order to create roster space for a trade must be posted in individual threads in the Releases section.
-If you trade away a player during the season, you cannot reacquire them during the same season. This rule does not apply during the off-season. If you trade away a player during the regular season who has played for your team already this season, you cannot trade back for the player until the following off-season.
- You cannot make any trade that will put you over the hard cap.
- As was posted before the season in the Salary Cap Announcements thread, teams below the cap floor cannot accept any trades that leave them with less salary than they had before the trade. I will count any free agent signings post-trade towards this number, however, to allow for a bit more flexibility.
Rules on Picks:
- You cannot trade picks past the three-year limit that are currently on the game.
- Not counting the upcoming draft, you must have at least one first round pick in on the index, but it does not have to be your own.
-You can only put pick protections/stipulations on picks that are yours to begin with.
- If you own the rights to swap a pick and you trade away the pick that is involved with the swap, the rights to swap are null and void.
- The maximum protection you can put on a first round pick is lottery (top 13). You cannot protect second round picks.
Please note that talking about trades before they are FINALIZED in the GroupMe group is subject to a fine of league cash.
Also, not a rule, but please do not come to me and ask how much a trade is off by. I have too much on my plate as it is to hold your hand through a deal.
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
