I know most of us have done this plenty of times before, but just in case:
General Rules:
- You must bold all changes in your depth chart.
- You are not allowed to CPU your DC.
- For each position, the Starter, Backup, and Emergency roles must be occupied by three unique players. All positions must feature at least one player that is a backup in the rotation.
- You can only play players at positions they're eligible to play at. The eligibility may change depending on whether the player is a starter or a backup. The full position eligibility list can be found here: tsfbl.proboards.com/thread/2807/position-eligibility-list.
- If a player starts the sim as injured and you leave him as the starter on your depth chart, the player directly behind him must also be eligible to start at that position.
- If a player is injured for the duration of the upcoming sim, he must go on your IR. The only exception for this rule is the playoffs.
- You are not allowed to submit depth charts that are actively tanking. Your best players have to play.
- You must have at least two point guards active at all times.
- If you are starting a PG with a C+ handle grade or lower, you cannot run an Outside-focused offense.
As those of you who have been in my leagues in the past know all too well, I get very frustrated when people submit depth charts that don't correctly follow these rules -- it's the most annoying part of the commissioner job. In the past, I would give out umpteen depth chart fines to GM's with invalid submissions, and people hated this. I've heard you loud and clear, but the league needs to be self-sustaining. Thus, we're going to try something different in TSFBL II. For a given sim, there's going to be a posted sim time, and depth charts will be due by that time. However, if there's an invalid submission, instead of dishing out a fine and charging forward, we will just wait until it gets fixed. If you want to make sure the sim happens on time, look out for your fellow GM's. I will do my best to help as well.
Please bold all changes when submitting depth charts! Not the whole DC, just the changes.
