Since you are not offering Fisher a max extension, you can only offer him 4 years. Proceeding with that contract... FBB Agent: This offer is not in line with how Derek Fisher views himself as a player. Per 36 minutes, Derek averaged 16.8 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 3.6 APG, and 2.4 SPG last season, despite playing out of position. He's been drafted over at point guard, last season he spent many weeks on the bench behind a rookie second-round draft pick, and he is more than happy to test his market in restricted free agency if this offer isn't raised substantially.
