FBB Agent: Alvin is very open to extending in Philadelphia, and I think we could have a deal here if you're willing to come on a price a bit. As the starting PG, Alvin should be making more than the mid-level exception over the length of the contract, in theory.

FBB Agent: This still feels too low. This is the same franchise that gave Eric Snow a max offer sheet (different circumstance, I know), after all. What makes Alvin any worse than Snow? We aren't asking for a max, but we also know it only takes one team in restricted free agency to think Alvin is their guy and come over the top. Here's a counter:

Starting Salary: $6,000,000
Years: 4 Years (Player option after third)
Increase: 8%
