If your rookie has not turned out like you'd hoped, you can shave the final season off his rookie contract here, free of charge. This decision must be made before the trade deadline during the third season of the four year contract. When you make this decision, you lose all bird rights on the player.
Please post the player(s) you would like to remove the final year of the salary from in this thread.
