Wally has been our Starting SF for the last 4 seasons and has been a consistent player, Toronto would like to offer him some term to stay in this city and hope to make an advancement in the playoffs with his help.
Toronto would like to submit an offer of 6000000 per year for 4 years with an increase of 4% and player option at the end of contract.

Per the contract extension rules, you can only offer extensions to players coming off of their rookie scale contract in the "off-season one year before restricted free agency after team option has been extended". Obviously, we are past that point now, meaning you'll have to try to bring back Wally in free agency. |
