Obviously, this is a bit subjective, but I've tried to come up with a way to quantify a player's improvement from one season to the next. This is solely based on a player's production on a per-minute basis. As a rule of thumb, I tried to ignore second-year players for consideration. I'm not saying it's impossible for a sophomore to win it, but it'd have to be an overwhelming case.
