Shard, we have high hopes for your career going forward here in Milwaukee. We’ve gone away from some of the guys who kept you from getting enough shots to show your true worth, but we still hold your talents in high regards. The last deal we signed you to was at the time a full max, while giving you an option to test the market in your final year with a player option.
We would like you to consider opting in, and taking an 8.5% increase of that option year for 4 additional years after. This is at this time the most money we could potentially give you, and we hope that we can keep this Bucks core together another 4 seasons.

Commissioner: This offer is invalid due to the contract length. If Rashard were to opt in as you're proposing, the max you could offer is a three-year extension. Please reread the contract extension rules and resubmit: TSFBL.PROBOARDS.COM/THREAD/2808/CONTRACT-EXTENSION-RULESAlso, for a point of clarification, there are no raises on your offer after the extension kicks in?

Rashard, My apologies for the invalid offer, we are offering a full 4 year extension with the first year being the opt in you already have in your current contract. The 8.5% raise would be an annual raise on top.

The trade deadline has passed, which means the deadline for extensions has as well. All negotiations can be continued in the off-season.
