Opening Season

For the 2010 season only, all teams, as they were drafted in the Team Draft, are only required to make sure they have:

1) Among the three option slots: either at least 9 Manifesto points (normal), or at least as many Manifesto points as the team started with (if you started at a number less than 9)
2) An option-eligible player at all three option spots (only two teams do not have at least three players on the roster)

Please note that all teams will be required to be compliant with the full Manifesto by the second season, so you should be proactive about planning for compliance ahead of time.

Every team's roster has remained eligible through this update, so no transactions are needed for compliance. I figured it's going to be easier for all parties involved if I post the Manifesto before free agency, so everybody knows what players are worth targeting and nobody has to worry about training camp ruining their plans. One other note, there was a good suggestion to allow teams a one-year reprieve from the Manifesto in the event that they lose a key option to free agency and have no means of replacing them -- I'll also extend that to retirements as well. This list will grow/change, but the following teams have a lower point standard for the 2011 season:

With the Manifesto being published before training camp is simmed, it only makes sense to bring back the mid-season update. With that said, I will change teams' minimum points needed to accommodate a situation where an update leaves them lacking the necessary scoring options, so they won't be forced to make a trade. Even if this wasn't the case, all teams in 2011 remain compliant with the mid-season update.

As a quick reminder, the minimum number of option points needed is 8 this season.
