The 13th pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Philadelphia 76ers! (95.18% chance of landing in this spot) The 76ers unfortunately miss out on the lottery luck found in the 13th spot last season.

The 9th pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Washington Wizards! (49.89% chance of landing in this spot) The Wizards lost the tiebreaker to the Bulls earlier today, and will draft 9th after their pick fails to move into the top four.

The 7th pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Minnesota Timberwolves! (29.95% chance of landing in this spot) The Bucks won just 20 games in 1997, and have a lot of needs to address with their draft picks this year.

The 6th pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Indiana Pacers! (25.82% chance of landing in this spot) Wow, a double jump! The Pacers picking 6th means that the Warriors and Mavericks have both jumped into the top three. There's only one top four slot left; we'll see who claims it.

The 4th pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Atlanta Hawks! (12.03% chance of landing in this spot) After picking 7th overall in 1996, the Hawks will have a top four selection and likely will target guard play to complement the rookie Defensive Player of the Year Ben Wallace.

The 2nd pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Golden State Warriors! (11.46% chance of landing in this spot) The two teams that finished 19-63 will end up in the top two spots. The tiebreaker settled between the two earlier today determined the order of the top two picks, and the top spot, ironically, went to the loser of it. Still, this is a very welcome outcome for a Warriors team that needs a lot of everything. And that means... The 1st pick in the 1997 Rookie Draft belongs to: The Dallas Mavericks! (11.56% chance of landing in this spot) The Mavericks made the mid-season decision to trade star guard Darrell Armstrong, and it proved to be the right one. They'll pick #1 overall in a draft with major prizes at the top. They're now on the clock and will have a franchise-altering decision on their hands.
