We are back again to offer Shaq whatever we can to keep him in Milwaukee. We would like to start off by thanking Shaq for his exceptional play, and acknowledge his MVP accolades this past season. We as a team go as Shaq goes, so we will go to no end to ensure we retain his services.
We are flexible if Shaq wants a shorter term to hit the market as a 10 year veteran. To start, we would like to formally offer Shaq the 5 year, maximum salary contract extension, with the full 8% annual increase.

The most you can offer Shaq, who is NOT coming off his rookie contract, on an extension is: Year 1: $9,647,748 Year 2: $10,419,568 Year 3: $11,191,388 Year 4: $11,963,208 TOTAL: $43,221,912Rules: tsfbl.proboards.com/thread/2808/contract-extension-rulesProceeding with that contract... FBB Agent: As I thought we cleared up last off-season, financially it makes no sense for Shaq to sign an extension, considering this number is far below the maximum contract he could get when he actually hits free agency. Remember, you can only offer him 120% of his previous contract as a starting number on an extension. For comparison, a maximum contract for Shaquille next season would start at $12,750,000. This is not Shaq saying he does not want to return to the Bucks; he will weigh his options when the time comes next summer. Verdict: OFFER DECLINEDYou can consider this matter closed.
