Dear Tim, we’re not going to waste any of your or your agents time. You know where we stand with you. We believe you’re the best player in the league and deserve to be compensated as such. We want to offer you a four year maximum contract with a player option for the fifth year. We believe this deal will be mutually beneficial to both of us and will allow you to potentially leave if you don’t like what you see after 4 years.
